Movies ~~~

Today, my uncle brought me and my other cousins to the cinema. He is so generous and he even provided us
with free popcorn and drinks.
The movie was - "Alvin and the Chipmunks 2". The funniest part of the movie that I remembered, while Alvin was playing the Wii Sports, bowling he forgot to fasten the Wii controller to his hand,  when he played, he accidentally released the Wii controller, it flew to the TV screen and spoiled both the TV and the Wii controller ...........
So, my friends if you have Wii please remember to fasten the Wii controller to your hand or you might be the next

After the performance, our parents brought us to Restaurant Wong Kok. See? We ordered an enormous drink. Enough for more than 10 people =D

Winter Solstice - Glutinous Rice Ball

22/12/09 Winter Solstice (Dongzhi 冬至)is a traditional festival of the Chinese people. My grandma told me "Glutinous Rice Balls(tong yun) " is the Winter Solstice special food, is a circle made with glutinous rice flour desserts. That is a meaning of reunion and fulfillment. On this day, we eat glutinous rice balls as a symbol of family harmony. My grandma filled some peanut into the balls, it was very tasty.
This year my mum is very busy, she didn't have time to prepare the glutinous rice ball, but she bought a pack of  the frozen glutinous rice ball which is filled with black sesame, I think I can try it this weekend :)

My first 2D Animation :)

10-12-2009 Yesterday I went to Aunt Jenny's restaurant, I have an animation class from Ervin (my classmate). He is my IT teacher ^^, He taught me the 1st step of animation.
This is my first creation, I decided to put the Malaysia Flag on my character.
Of course I said thank you to Ervin, he is very generous and kind, without his sharing I think it is not easy to learn the making of animation, hope I can learn more animation in the future.

A Letter from my Blogger Friend

08 December 2009I was so surprised when I received a letter with a Christmas card from my Blogger friend, Sis Grub. There was a little Santa sticker behind the envelope. It is so cute. It looked like it danced a little jig. She gave me a collection of stamps from foreign countries. Nowaday, I believe that stamps are very rare and limited and still she gave me her stamps...I feel so touched :D

Malaysian Animation

This morning, I saw an article from the newspaper. The creators of the famous Upin Dan Ipin seriesnow have their own studio called Animonsta Studio, their first titular character, Boboiboy.
I really feel great that Malaysia have our own cartoons. At the same time, I also found an article "Animation workshop for students", there will be an open animation competition for students age 10-14 years old which is organising by Disney.
* You can click the coloured word "Upin Dan Ipin" & "Boboiboy" to the link of the trailer

This competition will start next year. They will chose a team of 2-3 students from 10 chosen schools. This competition is for creating a 2 minute clip based on their own "alien encounter" inspired by Stitch. This is my first try drawing Stitch with a pencil.
This is also my first try using a computer but I only drew the head. I really hope I can download a free software of 2D animations!!! I hope if I can have a chance of participating…

Outing- Elephant Park And Waterfall

(29/11/09), I went to the elephant park.It was full of elephants. We didn't manage to ride the elephant because we arrived late at that time. They only allow the first 120th tourists to have a privilege to sit on it.

Wow! There goes a elephant couple XD Haha........ How romantic......

This baby elephant has finally accepted my food. At first, it was a bit stubborn then it calmed down and used its trunk and took the grass.

This baby elephant looks like "Jumbo".

After visiting the elephant park, we went to Bentong Waterfall.

The water currant was very strong so we played at the shallow waters. I had a good time with my cousins there.

Looking for a typing tutor for the beginner

During the school holiday, I have take part the "Enrichment School Holiday Program" which is held 3 times in a week. I like going to this tuition center because last year's holidays I joined the program before. It also includes a free art lesson weekly.
Last Wednesday, I went to my friend's cafe and he is an aggressive and smart boy. He knows a lot about computers. He promised to teach me a few animation lessons. I can't wait to learn animations and other computer knowledge from him. He said my typing skills are low. So I am trying my best to find a few typing tutor websites.

Finally, my Dad bought me the Wii last Sunday. We tried out the fitness age game yesterday night. There are three games baseball, tennis and bowling.
My dad Wii Fitness Age was51 and my mumHaha...... she was shocked, her Wii Fitness age was 74 years old. They said they should exercise more next time.
Oh look! My Wii fitness age was 55 years old, it was older than my Dad =( I must challenge them and I believe I can get a better result next time. I must improve in my balance and stamina. But most importantly my speed. Anyway, I found that Wil is not only a play station it also can let our family exercise together in cooperation.

Boy's Brigades' Awards Day

I earned my White and Green Badges this year but
my old school Boy's Brigade will hold their BB only

difficult to see my old school friends next time.

These are my old school friends in BB. From left to right:
Jeremy, Ming Cheng, Le Chi, and HenryChay(me.)

Eugane's Birthday Party

Last Saturday was Eugane's birthday party. It was a western food buffet party at Menara Tinjau's Lookout Point's Haven restaurant. It was really a nice lookout point around K.L's view. There was also a clown who performed some magic tricks at the party. I felt so happy to see most of my old school friends there. The parents chat among themselves, while the children played their games. It was a really nice day. I believe the view would look better there at night or dawn.

Kirigami (^o^)

These two days I didn't go to school because my dad went to Beijing and that no one had time to pick me up after school. Actually, there is also nothing to do in school this few days because the year end exam has ended.

Today, I'm so free.... and I made kirigami as below slide represents my art works.
Hope some of you will like it (^o^)

A Happy Day

Today is a happy day.
1) I got my report card from our form teacher, she encouraged me a lot, and my mum was also quite satisfied my result, as she promised me before the exam, she would buy me a Wii if I scored her target. Yeah.... I'm waiting to get a Wii (so far, my parents didn't buy me any PS or Game Boy)
2) My old school classmate - Martin was successful transferred to my new school and he might become my classmate again.
3) My homework (the K H project) was kept by the teacher, and she said it will be a sample to show to the next year students. 4) I'm the first one who finished the Malay storybook "Leman Penjual Kuih" in our class, I think it was a good improvement, because last time I rarely pick a Malay book to read, actually it was also very nice.

Grandma's Special Chicken Wing

This is my Grandma Spc. Homemade Chicken Wing. She adds fish paste, some prawn and other kinds of meat into a mixture then inserts it into the chicken wing. Then she cooks the delicious recipe for our family sometimes. It is so delicious. You can try it out!

My 1st Clay Creation

Today, I found a piece of clay on the ground. I picked it up and the first thing I ever thought of was, Pablo Picasso who was a famous artist. So I started creating an artist. After a while, I finished the Clay Artist. My mum says that it looks cute but it is dim among colours. She told me she would buy some coloured clay for me next time.

Children's Day 03 Nov 2009

(03 Nov 2009) was a nice day. It was Children's Day at our school. Kuntum's Mascot came to our school and so did a clown. The clown plays magic tricks with us. Too bad I didn't take a photo with the Kuntum Mascot because there were too many people T.T
After tons of performances I could not wait to eat. We went back to class. Even before teacher said we could start eating I accidentallycuri makan* the KFC drumstick which Cikgu Thamotharan sponsored for the school. I also got a lot of snacks, my mum prepared a lot of party packs for each of my classmates. The whole day was certainly our Liberty Day!

curi makan* = a Malay word which means eating without permission :P

Dedicated To My Old School Friends...........

Hi 4 Aman freinds, that was already 3 months I left the school, I miss you all. I know that you all are going to celebrate the "Children's Day" tomorrow, I have actually been invited by Aunt Kim (Nicole's mum), but I am so sorry that I can't go to SRSS tomorrow, because my exam is on next Monday, and these few days my teachers are giving us some revision, so my mum hopes that I won't skip class. Exam Was Postponed To Next Week

Mum bought me two books, one is titled "Help! I Have To Take A Test". This book explains how to prepare our exam, and what we should do during the exam......... I hope it will really works. Another book is " Get Organized Without Losing It" this is also a very motivated book because I always lose itemsss at school .
Due to some reason our headmaster announced that our exam has been postponed to start on 26-10-09.Yay! I have more days to do my revision, but since I transferred to this school for 3 months, I am still a little nervous for a few subject, especially the subjects in B.M but my Super Mum really helps me a lot, she coached me and guided me even though she is not so good in BM.

Visited To A Deepavali Open House

Today is the second day of the Deepavali, we have visited to our Indian friend's open house, She is my aunt's neighbor. She is very kind and invites us to her house every year, she cooks a lot of Indian food for us, this year she cooked some indian food for those who can't eat curry. I feel so happy to be a Malaysian, because we can always mix with others races and we can have so many types of food. The last photo is a Indian snack "Muruku" which is very crispy and tasty, I like to eat it so much :P
