Welcome Poh ~

                  
Today, Poh Jian Hui came to visit us when we were having our  BM lessons and teacher let him enter.Truthfully, almost everybody in the class who knew him rushed at him and is was quite a chaos at that time as if a superstar  walking off  the stage and all the audience was rushing for his autograph but it  was a bit different.Everybody wasn't trying to take an autograph instead they were giving him a warm welcome. Handshakes, group hugs and high fives was done by everyone. Wow! It was quite a welcome and everyone was overjoyed except for some students who didn't know him. Oh, the old days ...
After school, we met him again and everyone went home except for him and me. After listening to some music from his phone, he asked me if I wanted to go for a drink and I gladly accepted the offer. I tried to pay for both our drinks as he was my old friend but he denied the offer and right now his words are still ringing in my ears," Don't try to escape from me you, you little mongrel!" he then gave me back the amount  which I paid for the drinks and we talked about  "Left 4 Dead" before he departed. He also asked me to convince the teachers to hold the "MBS Carnival" on 31 July when he would come back again for a surprise visit next time ...

Testing Times

Now, I know its been a long time since I last kept myself updated here. Well, ever since the second semester started things were starting to fall out of place.Just when I had barely managed to pull myself together, the world around me started tearing itself to pieces again. Now, I don't know about everyone but the way I study is I tend to overexert myself for the first half of the semester to try to be a step or two ahead of the syllabus at all times so that the lecture will just be a refresher afterwards. I do this because:- 1. I kind of understand that I have fiery enthusiasm whenever a new semester begins but it dies down before I can go through the whole semester. This means I'm kinda short fused, losing interest if I don"t see a quickly rewarding outcome. Hence, over-studying in the start benefits me as I've covered the entire syllabus before the boredom falls into place, and 2.It's actually very rewarding to feel like you fully understand what the lecturer

Modelling Clay Angry Birds

Angry Birds is the most addictive game around recently. Now that my trial exam is over, I can have a short break and continue blogging. During the  days of examination, I do some revision during the night and head off to bed early. When I find some time in between the times I do revision, I quickly head off to my room and work out my project. According to the game, these 3 birds are the first 3 avian missiles in the group. As I am saving up clay for further "projects", I only made the small ones fingernail-size. It might look easy but for me the smaller I make it, the more challenging it is to create one. It also consumes a lot of time to make the smaller three. You see, some accident occurred and the yellow bird  eyebrows just didn't look that nice anymore. I am very upset that the yellow bird didn't look like just the way I wanted it. The black bird was rather an easy task because it wasn't too small but the main problem was its crest and beak. Beijing Summer Camp 2012

This year’s Beijing Summer Camp held on the 17 th ~26 th of July in the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) was the greatest camp I’ve ever been to. When we arrived in the BFSU, it was already midnight so we just checked into our rooms but I was so excited that I didn’t get tired and decided to stay up for a little while longer.  Without noticing that the sun rises earlier in the summer, I stayed up until I thought morning had already begun. Some of my friends woke up too and we were totally restless so we decided to have a walk around the school. As soon as we got out of our dorms, we saw plenty of beautiful places like the canteen, the hall and even the field but there was no one else around as the others were still sleeping while some other campers had still not arrived at the BFSU yet.
